This seems close to what I wanted to achieve; all that's left is to refine the whole thing.
I emphasize that painting technique is not an exact science, and everyone must find their own. Painting should always remain an adventure, and each time you start a new canvas, you should aim to discover something new, to surprise yourself. The only valid goal is to do what you want, without being influenced by criticism, and especially not by fashion or culture.
