
I sign on the left, as if the black base were engraved, without forgetting the "C" for Canonne (that's my wife's name), because I don't create anything without her opinion and she is the final work inspector.
It's always better to have a fresh eye to spot major mistakes that might otherwise go unnoticed.
The painting is finished, I think I have achieved my goal; it seems that one wants to eat these fruits. It is very rare to be 100% happy with one's work when deciding a canvas is finished, but one still has to decide to stop. Yet, with time, I feel that they improve, without my intervention. It's astonishing.
